I did all this and it was working fine, but at the very end, it said there was an error called POL_shortcut as I was finishing installing Steam. Give it go and DONT BOOTCAMP WINDOWS, you will have all the security and windows spyware issues that come along with it. Just a heads up, when you open the playonmac steam, it will look like it is doing nothing but just wait about a minute or so as it seems to take a minute for the steam login to appear on screen.
